  • Director of Catering Sales
      Mary enjoys an extensive background in the wedding & events industry throughout the tri-state area as well as up and down the east coast for well over two decades. Mary has been involved in every facet of the wedding & events industry from planning, staging, and coordinating hundreds of successful parties and weddings.

      Her career stated in Long Island where she was a part of the management team that transformed Bridgeview Yacht Club into one of Long Island’s most dynamic and innovative wedding venues of the 90’s. From Bridgeview Yacht Club, Mary joined the staff at Kleinfeld Bridal and created the “Dream Wedding Team”. As the Director of Wedding Event Services, Mary assembled an amazing team of professionals who assisted hundreds of brides, whether it was a simple referral to a vendor, day-of coordination or full wedding planning from start to finish, bride's dreams were exceed under her supervision. From Kleinfeld’s, Mary made the leap to David Tutera where she honed her skills in designing and decor. Here she met and worked with numerous famous clients, designing and creating events to dazzle her clients while fostering repeat business. Once again, Mary was able to participate in events around the country, and was a leader on the design team for Walt Disney Couture Weddings by David Tutera. With allot of “practice” Mary made her way to Carnegie Hall for two seasons and then enjoyed 4 years at iconic Hotel Plaza Athenee.

      Mary has worked on many different events for clients, while still specializing in weddings. Recently certified as an LGBT Wedding Planner, her heart is with the client, and she is loved by her client’s because she is the true “wedding advocate”. She is a “pro’s pro” who blends experience, skill, knowledge and most importantly, her passion. Her level of compassion and grace have been ingrained in her after working as a trauma social worker in a busy Emergency Room for over 10 years. Mary has a Master’s degree in Social Work from Adelphi University and lives in Floral Park, NY.

  • Member Events and Golf Outings
      Jennifer Harmon joined The Muttontown Club team in 2003 as the Food and Beverage Director and in 2004 was promoted to Clubhouse Manager overseeing all aspects of the clubhouse operations. In 2007 she changed focus from Clubhouse Manager and assumed the position of Catering Director. From 2007 thru 2017 she brought her personal service and her attention to detail to all aspects of these special events, including weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs and other special occasions. Jennifer’s current job focus is on member special events and golf outings, continuing to offer the level of service that Muttontown events are known for.

      Jennifer has always been interested in food and beverage. She attended the University of Wisconsin - Stout graduating from their Hotel and Restaurant Management Program in 1993. She did her internships at the club in 1990 and 1992. After college, her career took her to Germany, working at Schlosshotel Liebenstein, a boutique castle hotel surrounded by vineyards, with restaurants and a golf course, to Lake Tahoe working for Caesars Entertainment Corporation, and then back to New York, where she worked for 7 years for the Crowne Plaza Times Square Hotel in New York City as a Restaurant Manager and Director of Restaurants.
